Personal Training


Personal Training is a great alternative for those who:

  • Have tried to work out on their own but couldn’t seem to reach their goal.
  • Just don’t have the motivation needed to stick to an exercise program.
  • Want to see results.

How does it work?

The initial session is a consultation where we will discuss your health and exercise history, your fitness goals, possibly conduct a couple fitness assessments to see your current fitness level, plus, a sample workout. This information is used to design an exercise program made especially for you to help you reach your fitness goal safely and efficiently!

After your program is designed, you will meet with your personal trainer regularly to work out. You could choose 30 minute or 60 minute sessions and whether to work out 1-on-1 with a trainer or in a group. It is recommended to meet 2 or 3 sessions per week (depending on your goal and current fitness level) until you reach your goal.

 

Personal Training Options:

Aside from working out one-on-one with a Personal Trainer at the OOMIE Fitness studio, you have the following options:

 

-Personal Training Walkthrough

A Personal Training Walkthrough is for those who can’t seem to reach their fitness goals working out on their own but don’t want to work with a personal trainer every session. The Personal Training Walkthrough allows you to work out at home with the exercise programming and support of a personal trainer.

The Personal Training Walkthrough consists of two sessions:

  • First session: You meet with your personal trainer to discuss your goals, health, exercise history and have a couple fitness assessments performed.
  • Second session: Your personal trainer walks you through your personally designed exercise program to show you how to perform the exercises and tweak it according to your preferences and ability.

You then perform the exercises for 4 weeks as prescribed on your own at home, keeping an exercise log. During the 4 weeks, you get unlimited email support from your trainer. When the 4 weeks have expired, you may come to the studio for a second walkthrough with a newly designed exercise program (extra fees apply).

 

-Small Group Personal Training (form your own group)

Don’t want to work out alone? Then grab a buddy (or more) for group training! You can lift and sweat together.. and share the cost! With group training, you still get a personalized training program to fit your needs and goals.

 

-Training with OOMIE Fitness at YOUR location!

You could also arrange for sessions outside the OOMIE Fitness studio at a day, time, and location of your choice and include as many people as your space allows! You don’t have to have a home gym or any equipment for that matter. I’ll bring what you need!
